In actual fact it’s a great resort that can cater for all; families, couples as well as the young set. For starters the beach is a EU Blue flag beach and the location of Magalluf, 25 mins drive from the airport, 15 mins from the capital of Palma and 5 mins drive from the exclusive multi million pound harbour of Puerto Portals makes Magalluf a good all rounder.

Palma Nova

beach-14Together with its neighbour, Magalluf, the resort of Palma Nova on the south west coast of Mallorca makes up the most popular holiday area on the island. Approximately 25 minutes drive from the airport, the resort of Palma Nova offers everything from beautiful beaches to great nightlife. The three sandy beaches of PalmaNova are backed by a long promenade and has a Blue Flag status. Palma Nova is divided from Europe's famed party capital, Magalluf, by a rocky headland, but the resorts are basically merged into one. The hotels and apartments range from budget self-catering to luxury 5 star hotels. Palma Nova is known as the quieter neighbour of Magalluf and therefore is more suited to families and couples. However, as it is only 5 minutes to the nightlife it is also ideal for younger people who want to be close the action  but who also enjoy staying somewhere a little quieter.
