Magalluf

beach-16.jpgWhen you think of Magalluf, you think of 18-30 and thousands of late night bar’s with neon sign’s.

In actual fact it’s a great resort that can cater for all; families, couples as well as the young set. For starters the beach is a EU Blue flag beach and the location of Magalluf, 20 mins drive from the airport, 10 mins from the capital of Palma and 5 mins drive from the exclusive million pound harbour of Puerto Portals makes Magalluf a good all rounder.
 
Shopping: The promenade and streets in the centre of Magalluf are lined with dozens of shops selling beachwear, souvenirs and other tourist goods. Better shopping can be found in the capital of Palma, an easy taxi or bus ride away. There are good supermarkets in both Magalluf and the  neighbouring resort of Palma Nova that stock all the well-known international brands, as well as local produce. Most things are good value, particularly alcohol and cigarettes.

Restaurants:
As Magalluf attracts all types of holidaymakers with plenty of people on self-catering accommodation you are never far from a wide selection of restaurants, the majority catering to British tastes. For variety there are Indian, Chinese, Mexican, Italian and even some Spanish restaurants. There are several restaurants that offer Sunday roasts and other favourites like fish and chips plus you’ve got McDonalds, KFC, Subway and Burger King. You can feel home from home.
 
Nightlife: Magalluf is well known for its nightlife. There are literally hundreds of bars and night clubs for partying as well as bars that house tribute acts and comedians. Whilst holidaying in Magalluf, you may want to stroll to the neighbouring resort of PalmaNova which has a more relaxed atmosphere or you may want to visit one of the spectacular evening dinner shows such as Son Amar, Es Foguro or the Balearics favourite Pirates Adventure. Activities:
Daytime activities in Magalluf are centred on the long sandy beach, if you feel energetic, take advantage of various water sports, like jet skiing, doughnuts; kite surfing or even scuba diving. The two large water parks in Magalluf are also a great way of spending the day.
In the evening there’s a nearby Casino or Palma the capital city is only a 10 min taxi ride.

Overall
